One of the most powerful ways to pray is to pray Scripture over ourselves, our husbands and others – in faith – believing that God is a Promise Maker and a Promise Keeper.

I love what David Platt says about praying when we are abiding in Christ and full of His Spirit:

“Change your desires to want what God wants. Then… ask for anything you want!”

Jesus places no limits on the possibilities and potential and power of prayer. We are the ones who do that by our unbelief and small faith. For Him, the sky is the limit.
